This involves:<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:list -->\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><!-- wp:list-item -->\n<li>Drilling a test bore hole or excavating a test pit&nbsp;to determine the thermal properties of the local geology<\/li>\n<!-- \/wp:list-item -->\n\n<!-- wp:list-item -->\n<li>Determining how much land area is needed and what type of ground-coupled heat exchanger is best suited<\/li>\n<!-- \/wp:list-item --><\/ul>\n<!-- \/wp:list -->\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/article>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<article class=\"uagb-post__inner-wrap\">\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class='uagb-post__text uagb-post-grid-byline'>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class='uagb-post__text uagb-post__excerpt'>\n\t\t\t\t\t<!-- wp:heading -->\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Design<\/h2>\n<!-- \/wp:heading -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Once the project is determined to be feasible and the geology has been confirmed, we can start on the design of the system.
